GENtex is an RGV-based nonprofit organization that advocates for the needs of trans women, men, and gender non-conforming individuals who are severely underserved in South Texas’s rural communities.
Stonewall Day refers to the June 28, 1969, date when a police raid of the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in New York City's Greenwich Village, sparked a week-long series of protests that became known as the Stonewall Uprising. This event is widely considered a pivotal moment in the fight for LGBTQ+ civil rights.
