Moonbeans, 202 W Schunior St, Edinburg, TX 78541 By repairing, swapping, and reusing clothing, the event demonstrates how reducing textile waste also reduces the energy required for manufacturing and disposal—lowering overall energy demand and household cost burdens. The clinic creates space for conversations about electricity bills and cost-of-living pressures, followed by an invitation to participate in the EcoPoder Survey. Attendees leave with a one-pager connecting clothing swaps to economic and environmental justice, reinforcing recycling and reuse as practical climate and affordability solutions.
